Effects of Porn Addiction: Episode 58 of the Fit Father Project Podcast

By: Dr. Anthony Balduzzi, NMD - Men's Health Doctor & Founder, The Fit Father Project & Fit Mother Project,

effects of porn addiction

Episode 58 of the Fit Father Project Podcast is all about the effects of porn addiction and how pornography can negatively affect your health and well-being.

In this episode, you’ll meet Frank Rich, a former bodybuilder, entrepreneur, men's health coach, and the host of The Superhuman Life Podcast

Frank is also a man who's dedicated his life to helping people break free of porn addiction.

That’s right, we’re going to discuss pornography, because, as Fit Fathers, it's not just about nutrition, exercise, recovery, and sleep.

It's about well-being on all levels, mental, physical, and spiritual, and in today's day and age, pornography needs to be a part of this discussion.

Today in the U.S., over 40 million adults regularly visit internet pornography websites and 10% of adults in the U.S. admit to having a porn addiction.

Over 50% of teens search out porn regularly at least monthly, and over 50% of male students and 30% of female students viewed porn before they became teenagers.

This is the world we live in. We have the internet and there's pornography all over the place.

And, it's projected that by 2025, virtual reality porn is going to be a $1 billion industry, so this issue is only getting bigger and worse.

So, we need to address it for both ourselves and our kids. And that's what we get into in this conversation with Frank.

In this episode you’ll learn:

  • The dangers of porn addiction.
  • How Frank battled addiction, depression, and anxiety for over 20 years.
  • How he got himself right.
  • How to reconnect with your faith.
  • Dealing with bad, self-destructive destructive behaviors.
  • How to develop a system and a path to break free of addiction.
  • And so much more!
