no excuses

Episode 88 of the Fit Father Project Podcast is all about beating the odds and having no excuses when it comes to making positive changes in your life.

In this episode, you’ll meet Dave, a 54-year-old husband and father of two, who used the Fit Father Project to lose over 50 pounds and pack on muscle in his 50s.

But that’s only part of the story — Dave did all of this while dealing with brain damage.

Listen to Dave's story:

He was born with damage to the right side of his brain that has affected him his entire life.

And as he went through life, he made a commitment to himself to defy the odds and not let the diagnosis define him.

So he worked hard and worked out and stayed in shape and became successful in life.

But then his 40s hit and life, work, family, and age crept up, and like many of us, Dave started to let himself go.

But, he was able to turn things around in his 50s despite tremendous adversity with both his neurologic conditions and the stagnation that he'd allowed himself to get into throughout his 40s.

So if you need a little kick in the pants, you need to hear this episode!

There are so many excuses we can make in our lives to not do things. And Dave had every excuse that any man could have, but he found his higher purpose and his path to a better body, mind, and spirit.

I can’t wait for you to hear all this wisdom and inspiration!

In this episode you’ll learn:

  • How Dave dealt with brain damage growing up.
  • How he used it to drive and motivate himself.
  • How his diet and fitness eventually got off track.
  • The wake-up call he had in his late 40s/early 50s.
  • How he refound his drive and motivation.
  • And so much more!
